#Sathi: A MISSION TO help MOST VULNERABLE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES WITH ESSENTIAL Relief and support during COVID 19 Pandemic

With many families suffering due to the devastating surge of Covid19, children are bearing a deep impact. Many have lost their parents and are extremely vulnerable. Numbers of Children aged 0-9 years testing positive in past few months and only few hospitals in Nepal have facilities with critical care of Child. Children are living in fear and distress. As many parents have lost their job it has directly affected children’s well-being. Also, they are in high risk after the member in a family gets infected as they won’t be getting proper health care. It is very crucial for us to think about these children NOW and provide essential care and protection for them.

We are more concerned to child safety and protection NOW, it will give them hope and support for the future they deserve. Further, it is the right of every child to survive, thrive and be protected from any possible harm or abuse. That’s the reason why we have initiated SATHI; which means friends.
