Sathi Initiative Support: 38 families of Khairehani Municipality are benefited

Under the Better Chitwan Sathi Initiative, food supplies, hygiene and sanitation items have been supported to 38 economically weak families in Khairhani Municipality of Chitwan.

The program was coordinated by Education Coordinator of Better Chitwan Miss Asmita Sapkota and eastern team of Better Chitwan. Beneficiaries were from economically disadvantaged family including two with physical disability. Program was conducted on the presence of ward chairperson and chairperson of TLO. We truly thank Flying Aid Nepal, Human Practice Foundation and Khairehani Municipality for the support and collaboration.

With this, children of 178 family members have benefited from the initiative. Seven beneficiaries are supped with medical treatment assistance and two physically disabled were supported with Wheelchair. Better Chitwan has supported Children’s book for about 200 children from Madi Municipality. Also, 48 youths from different part of district participated in online yoga class that was led by qualified yoga and naturopathy physician Dr. Achala Pokhrel.

Better Chitwan has supported a COVID kit to Shivanagar COVID Hospital managed by Bharatpur Metropolitan City and has benifited more than 420 people with health counseling.
